ISLAND a floating database of holographic literature?

Did Danielle's research team

(1) bring all the animals, polar bear, boars, etc. to the island? and did the researchers create

(2) a giant computer data-base that not only stores literature, mythologogy, folklore, etc. but is able to interact with people's minds and project it's scrambled images like Jack's father and Ethan, Locke's rain.

Does the "sickness" develop from being wounded?

Does it seem like some people who were strong are now getting noticably weaker? I'm thinking of all of Locke's breaks while tracking Ethan and Jack's getting tormented again by memories of his father.

Can someone lead me to info regarding black rock? Still new here, haven't been everywhere yet. Sorry if I'm redundant.

Holographic database?

That's cool, man!

I really like that. It's an explanation I could totally go for.

But there's more going on than that. It's just part of the mystery.

Actually, it touches some points in a theory I'm currently working at (no pressure).

You're kidding?
This WAS original!

An holographic database? On what starship Enterprise would this be on?

Re: ISLAND a floating database?

Similar to star trek, but quite different.

In star trek, people went into a room, more like virtual reality or 3D video game and they picked the program to interact in.

What I'm suggesting, is the exact opposite or inversion.
