The Tempest. Act ii. Sc. 1

The Island:

The Island is Special

What's taken away is replaced. Spoiler thru Exodus 1

Ok. I've been thinking about this for a while and last night I got even more evidence.
The island may take some things away, but they always have to be replaced.

Examples:

1. Boone died, so Ana (Michelle Rodriguez) will become a part of the island.

2. Danielle's boat crashed, so another one is put on the island (the Black Rock)

3. Flight 815 crashed, so another plane was put on the island (the Drug carriers plane)

This may seem a little useless, like why would they replace a perfectly good ship or plane with an old broken one, but that point has not found it's way into my theory. So there you have it. Just a thought.

Well, I would not say that Ana is becoming a part of the island. She already is.

And the Black Rock is way older then Danielle's boat.

And the drug carriers plane was there longer that Oceanic 825 had crashed.

So going by your thoery it would have to be reversed.

CBN I believe your conclusions are flawed but not the premise that the island maintains a kind of balance (much discussed already in terms of Boone's death coinciding with TH's birth, and Locke's pronouncement about getting as good as you give).

I believe that we will be able to relate this what we saw last night only after Exodus Pt. II.
