Note from the Editor
Back in August Truffula began an
intensive, time-consuming and highly-dangerous investigation
into the roots of the Dharma Initiative, and it's extensive
international network of operatives and umbrella companies.
What follows are the ongoing notes of his investigation,
helped by associates at losttv-forum.com and the mysterious
aid of Dr. Marvin Candle, Vincent Madison of Oceanic World Airlines,
the suspicious Lars Navaho, and an enigmatic fellow known only to us
as the "Snowman." The
notes are organized below by the various websites to which they
pertain, but bear in mind that internal and external connections
abound, and this is very much an ongoing investigation, to be
continued in our next issue!
It is a widely known fact that www.thehansofoundation.org is an "Official" LOST website. This site was deliberatley launched by ABC after the airing of "Orientation". The fact that TPTB have a website that is essentially a "side-story" to the show is what began the research into other LOST websites, and subsequently created the WEBMAZE (official or not, it's an incredible thing).
This all started after Ep 3 "Orientation" aired with multiple Dharma Initiative websites popping up all over the net. Here is a list of all of the different ones I could find:
- www.thedharmainitiative.info - at first, the Flash animation was set up so no one could gain access. You would always recieve "Invalid IP" message. Until recently, that was all this site had to offer. Now, the Flash has been updated so that it's fairly easy to gain access by clicking randomly on the logo (which I'm not even sure is necessary). Your system and connection are then "checked" (just a part of the Flash, not a virus), then you must input the numbers to initialze system.
ROADBLOCK: Now we are asked for a "Member ID" to get any further. The source code in the page turned up the referral from www.kraftkost.se, which is a mirror of this site.
- www.thedharmainitiative.org - not much to see here. Attempting to login will only prompt you for a username and password. Another ROADBLOCK.

- www.dharmainitiative.com - this is the one that has a link to place a net call to Alvar Hanso. As well as a weird number sequence at the bottom. The sequence reads:
49(space/0)880(space/0)018(space/0)9(space/0)=(space/0)
with butttons labeled "entrance", "UnLocke", and "108.00". The buttons, at present, don't appear to do anything.
But I speculate that if the correct "code" is put in the spaces, and the buttons pushed in a particular order, something will happen (like the secret Copenhagen page on Hanso site that reveals the GHO letter).
There is also some crazy statement hidden in invisotext that reads:
"Phase 3 Disclosure: The Dharma Initiative is not a secret international research project. You see, the island is part of another "dimension", I guess you'd call it, and is sort of "in between" the universes that are made of light matter and dark matter. We call it "Dharma". It's part of a whole planet that is pretty much available for colonization. It could also be used as a future conduit for inter-dimensional/intergalactic travel. The only problem is that we can't exist there naturally. The island only materializes when there's a solar eclipse. During that time the unique electromagnetic frequency added to the gravitational distortion allows both it and us to exist within the same space. But that "effect only lasts for 108 minutes, and then the island disappears from our world, taking any inanimate matter with it that's left behind.
If you were standing on the island after the primary eclipse period ended and the 108 minutes were up, you'd feel a great big suck of air and then "PLOP!" you'd fall right back into the ocean. Naked.
We are trying to change that. Actually, Majestic 13 developed a machine years ago that allows us to exist there. It's weird, but once us and the island "disappear" into the Dharma dimension, we have days and nights just like the earth one. But we can't travel more than 42 kilometers outside the machine's effective range.
The plan is to develop a way to genetically engineer animals with the right quantum frequency so they can exist in Dharma on their own. That's what the project is all about, and until now it's been classified.
The fictional tv series "Lost" is part of the worldwide disclosure plan."
On 12.20.05 the site changed. The buttons now read "Access", "KD", and "AH" (presumably for Karen DeGroot and Alvar Hanso). Also the invisotext has changed. It now reads "The Maze. Penny has the answers." But here we hit another
ROADBLOCK as the "code" could be anything. This is the site registered to Bryan Burk (executive producer of LOST).
